Hello. New to the forum. I was wondering what the best year of KDX would be to race in vintage racing? I'm not very familiar with the KDX model and thought this would be the best place to ask questions. Model years up to 1992 are eligible to race in this series.
Thank you for your time and help.

Welcome to KDXRider.
1989 - 1994 are very similar, but the newer the better on a couple of little things.

Re: Vintage Racing KDX
Well, as Jason said, the easiest would be a 1992 KDX200. Water cooled, disc brakes, better suspension. Parts interchangeable from 89-94 (though starting to get harder to locate). My personal choice would be a 1988 KDX200. Last year of the air cooled KDX, a tractor in the slow stuff, no radiators or pesky coolant to overheat, reliable, and easy to ride fast. Parts are a PITA though.
