Heavy clutch
Hi from Melbourne Victoria Australia . I have a 1983 kdx200 in pretty good nick . Have ridden it in vinduro here for a couple of years now . Brilliant bike , light , powerful and for a 58yr Ol guy the grab handles are a blessing ! I bought it with a spare engine so I should be right for a while . A question , the clutch has always been really heavy . As I'm getting older this is becoming a pain in the arse ! Any suggestions ? It all looks normal to me . Having never ridden another one I have nothing to compare it with . Any advice would be appreciated . Cheers

Make sure the cable is lubed. Other than that, you would have to take off the clutch cover & inspect for wear. Look at the clutch basket (primary driven gear) for grooves & check the other parts for wear. Maybe someone installed stiffer springs?
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
