I found this 1991 KDX200 sitting in a climate controlled warehouse. It’s been stored for 25 years. A guy bought it to follow his kids around on their dirt bikes. It’s got 264 miles on it. Guy never changed any fluids or anything. Still has OEM tires on it with very little wear on them. The only issue was missing muffler guts after he let his nephew ride the bike. Oddly enough, I had no luck finding stock muffler on ebay so got an aftermarket one. I cleaned the carb and it started on the third kick. I’ll change all the fluids and take it out for a test ride soon. Hmm... Apparently I'm too stupid to post an image on here.

Welcome to kdxrider. :partyman:

Check for cracked rubber parts.
I would also suggest a coolant change, and when you can, a fork oil and shock oil change as well. I would check the wheel, linkage, shock, swingarm and steering bearings. Take a good luck at the air filter as an original one would surely disintegrate and get sucked into the carb. Assume all fluids are from the spring / summer of 1990 when it was made.

Cool as heck to find one with that few of miles on it!!
