Welcome to the forums.

Thanks for the pictures.

Frame number (not a VIN) is 1988 KDX200

Engine number seems to be a "G" model, maybe 1989.

1990 was the start of USD forks for KDX200G.

Post some pics. Sounds like a Frankenbike for now.

thank you Jason, that helps alot!

i was so frustated about the manual i forgot about the picture

here is when i got the bike and jetwash it for solid hour and cleannn.

and here i disassemble it.

now am stuck with the kips part...

Image

here is where things get tricky, i am pretty sure that the bulge under the smiley can be taken off because there was 2 nuts holding it, but i am not 100% sure because it seems hard to pry it off.

Image

and here is where i think i can just pull the rod off. (mind me i dont know what everything is called)

any advice is very needed.

That is a KDX200, probably an SR, which is a model G, check the numbers again, maybe it is a G and not a C.

The G model was never brought into the states, but a bunch went to Europe. There are a few folks on here with them. A lot of E-series parts cross over, but I don't know of a definitive listing.
