2006 KDX200

Post by jackbombay »

Picked it up this week, recently rebuilt/revalved suspension from factory connection, new rear tire, but its not on the bike yet, the front could use a new tire to, it does have a moose in it which I'm not looking forward to wrestling off. Bike also has a gnarly pipe and FMF silencer. Bike is plated too.

I've had a couple KTMs over the years, a 300 and a 250f, and I have a yamaha XT225...

I bought this KDX from my boss, and I actually rode it a couple of years ago, it does have a shortened rear shock, I'm 5' 11", but I do quite like the bike being a bit lower.

This bike should be pretty much ready to ride, but I'm sure I'll be tinkering with it some once I get some miles on it.

I will need to rejet for my elevation, but other than that it just needs some gas and oil :-)

Pic of the bike on the back of my van,

Welcome.
The lowered rear end without lowering the front can definitely affect handling.
Enjoy your ride.
