New to the group. Just scored an 89 kdx 200 for $150. It's been setting for 3yrs. Cleaned the carb and it busted off the second kick. Runs great, but water pump seal is leaking. Seat cover and tires are dry rotted but has fmf fatty pipe and boysen rad valve and plastics are in great shape. Stripping it to do a frame up build.

Nice! I did the same as you, got an '89 off of CL for $250. It ran when I put fuel in it so I did a ground up restoration on it. You should post up a build thread on it.
