Hi all , i haven't ridden dirt for almost 20 years and that was trials ridding ,so should be steep learning curve .
i think the difference in seat height between the beta TR-34 and the KDX would be about 18 INCHES.
Any way just introducing myself.

I picked one of those up (2000 H model) a couple of months ago, the guys I ride with in the hills are all on 450 4 strokes and on the down hills, they struggle to keep up, the not too snotty up hills they struggle to keep up. On the really loose, steep hills they have a bit of an edge though. I love it, like yourself I had a 15 or so year break from dirt bikes, the only thing I have struggled with adapting from road to dirt, has been judging braking distance. There is a bit of a difference in brake power lol
