New rider and first time 2003 KDX 220 owner

Hi evryone,
my name is caleb. I just purchased my first dirt bike, 2003 KDX 220. I have been riding street for about 6 years, so I figure it's long over due finally getting onto dirt.
Looking forward to being apart of the group as I am sure I will have many questions... and pretty pumped I stumbled across this site to know I will get some good feedback from experience riders.

Welcome and if you looked around on this forum then you know to inspect your top end to ensure it is not stock. Stock Pistons have been proven to fail, so do check even if the PO said he swapped it. It's an easy enough task and the downside is too big to blow it off.
