Hi guys,
I'm new to the site but have been riding almost all my life. One the many bikes I had was a white and blue 90 or 91 kdx 200, which was great for the tight technical trails here in the Pacific Northwest.
I moved on from that bike so long ago to a couple 4t 450s and a couple 2t 250 mx bikes, but now that I'm getting older and my kids are starting to ride I thought I'd start looking at another kdx200.
Right now I'm contemplating building a hybrid from an 04' RMZ250 with some pretty sweet marzocchi suspension and was going back and forth on a either an air cooled 88 or the latest water cooled 220 version.

Welcome...
Good luck in your searching for a new bike. I usually see a lot of DXs in OR...and priced right too!

Hey Ryan,
I just looked at a local hybrid for sale. It was incredible.
I have 2 sons with 1994 KDX's and another son with a GasGas EC200. Great bikes.
Here's a couple local hybrids for sale.

I like to do fab work, and I'd like to be able to say "i built my bike". That is pretty clean work though. I'm still undecided if I should use an e series motor (latest?) Or an air cooled. I'd like know if the air cooled 200 motor would really be up to the task

Don't use an E series, You'd want an "H" series if going water cooled.
