Cody from Colorado!

Post by LBC970 »

Hey guys, just picked up a KDX200, non runner but not seized, sat for a few years. New to bikes, not new to mechanics, and I am looking to use this bike for light trail and around town. Looking forward to learning what I can from here and the guys who know more than me!

I'm thinking a complete tear-down and rebuild, bolt for bolt, is in my winter future. I'm pulling the carb tomorrow, the gas in the tank is nasty stuff. Eight years old!

I turned on the fuel petcock, and some nasty green came pouring out of the bottom. Lit with no problem, had a small fire in the driveway for about 5 minutes. Ha
