Hi everyone, my name is Marcus from Scotland (Near Glasgow)
Found the forum last week after buying a KDX200E
Had a KMX125 a long long time ago when my hair wasn't so grey & waist sadly alot more slim.
Recently got handed a Chinese midimoto X 50cc (( I know it's not a real bike ))
But I fixed it up, got it running & gave it to my 12 year old daughter
She took to it very well & loves being out on it
Short story is I had to chase after her the try keep up on a mountain bike
Didn't take long to think -FK this !!
Quick look for a trail bike got me the KDX to have fun with her
Now looking to get her something proper also.
Big thanks to the forum already as I've been trawling & picking up great advice
My bike ain't as smart as most others here but It's mine & Im having fun..

Thanks for the welcome SGT
This is how I got it Image
I'm not great with tools but confident enough knowing if I take my time I will have a bash at most things
So done a tear down to see exactly what I've got & read on here to at least clean filter & switch oil before having some fun
Silencer ( DG performance 2 ) & spark plug (BR8ES) are the only non standard items I could find
Not Inspected into engine though
Packing in silencer was terrible

And now has nice clean replacement
This is how it stands as was loosing light

Will put together in the morning & happy to find that with just a quick service it starts very easy.

Welcome to the forum and your bike looks like it is in good shape. One thing I would recommend is getting the case saver for it and rerouting the front brake line to the inside of the fork.

Hello Deacon & thanks for welcome
I'm aware of the correct routing for front brake cable to inside fork but I never had a key that would fit the bolts, they look to be in a bad way so might have to cut a groove and screw them out
By Case Saver do you mean a belly pan ?
Sorry I'm ignorant & not familiar with the item you mention
Only annoying problem I have Is that front brake lever is just flapping loose
Will inspect this further tomorrow .
Really like what some of you guys here have done with your bikes, They look amazing

Welcome

The Case saver bolts on in front of the front sprocket to "save the case" if the chain pops

Thanks, never thought of that. Is this something that should have been on the bike from standard ?
Will try get it sorted & put other info in the E series section
Thanks for the welcome & look forward to some banter ..
