Hello guys, I don't have a kdx just looking into them. My cousin has an old 79 kdx 400 he might sell me for $300 that is a little beat up but runs and drives. Doing research to see if I should pick it up but seems parts are scarce. Thank you.

Welcome! You can get parts just takes some Internet surfing. Ebay will be your friend. My friend restored a 82 250 KDX. New top end and all new plastics including tank was very easy to get.
Hey for $300 go for it and have fun!

the 400 was only built a couple of years. i saw one on cl but passed on another model year because of limited parts.
