New to me 98 KDX200

Hello all

My first Kawasaki but not my first dirt bike. Also have a 79 IT 400, 82 IT 465, 84 yz 125, 86 IT 200. I wanted something newer and I like the 200 motor. I ride mostly in the woods of Missouri and the mountains and desert of Idaho. Some hare scrambles and all of the single track I can. My IT200 was my favorite but I wanted to give it a rest. My KDX is in pretty good shape but needed a little TLC before I really could ride it and hopefully this weekend will be its first outing and first hare scrambles! I have always wanted a KDX and will eventually do the fork mods and maybe even do a hybrid. At 58 I am having a blast riding with my grandson's getting them started in the dirt and racing also I hope to also add an early air cooled KDX to the stable some day. This site has some great info and am looking forward to participating, and hopefully helping others too.

Welcome to KDXRIDER!! I just got a 96 KDX200 and love that bike. Been riding the crap out of it in the Mojave Desert and Mountain trails up in Mariposa, Ca. Enjoy your bike!!!!
