Hello from north queensland. I have owned my 89 KDX200 F for about 10 years .she is plated and reliable but only gets used occasionally.i am planning a full restoration and upgrade on the 200 to make it into a awesome regestered retro trail/enfuro bike that will be ridden and not just looked at.looking forward to gathering some good kdx information . Oh and I am 40

Sounds like it'll be a good thing once you're done with it. I'm down in Port Macquarie, NSW and also have a plated KDX200.

I'm in NSW and I've owned my '89 KDX200F1 since new - great reliable bike.

One of the best mods to do is fit the bigger carbie and air box from the E series - even with the standard pipe it makes a big difference.

Good luck with the resto.

Cheers
I may be old, I may be slow, but hey I'm still getting my leg over - a dirt bike!

I have an E-series airbox I'll sell for a fair price in Australia if any of you others are interested. :)
