Hello Everyone from Nova Scotia

Post by KDX220PHIL »

Hey Eveyone,
This site is awesome, so much valuable information. I am very thankful there is such a site with a group of knowledgeable poeple who know what they are talking about. I should have filled this out earlier but i am such a procrastinator. Well, a little about myself, I am 23, a manufacturing technologist by occupation and machinist by trade. I started dirt biking when i was 13 but stopped when i was 16 due to money. This spring after researching the heck out of what bike i was going to buy, i found this site (not the only deciding factor of course, haha) and soon thereafter purchased a brand spankin new 2005 KDX220R.
Love it!
One of the many reasons for buying the KDX was the incredible amount of mods and info on mods available for this bike, it allows the bike to grow with me, as I get better my KDX will too.
After playing all summer with the bike and not doing any permanent mods with the exception of the graphics kit, I am ready to mod the freg out of it.
Jsut wanted to say thanks again to everyone, for help with choosing an awesome bike, and thanks especially to those who make this information available to all us KDX riders.

Do they offer the 200 in Canada or is it just 220? I seem to remember reading that earlier.

You are right Jason, at all the local dealers (within the province) they only offer the 220, not sure about anywhere else in Canada. Wonder why that is?

When it was assembled, it seemed to have good power, but probably not enough to rip the shirt off your back or bald the tire.
