Hello,
I’m new to the site. I recently bought a 220 to use mostly for light trail riding and to follow my kids around while they learn to ride. I’ve been riding and wrenching for about 40 years. When I was a kid, I’d have to hang around bike shops and ask questions to learn. Now we have great resources like this forum! As an older guy I’ve learned the value of knowledge and patience… so hopefully… most jobs can get done right the first time. My bike doesn’t have many hours on it … it still had the original tires, but I’m going through the engine top end and chassis bushings and bearings. Pic of work in progress is below.
Regards,
Two20R

Welcome to KDXRIDER! Good to have ya! I'm sure in your researches you have learned of the weak stock 220 piston. While you are going through the engine, It should definitely be replaced with forged.
