New 220 owner (update BLOWN UP)
Good luck with it. I see there is a brand new 220 cylinder on ebay... But they want 499 for it.

I would recommend langcourt
I had them work on my 200 cylinder
they rebored it and replated it and did a great job on it
off course, since yours is a 220 to begin with there may not be enough meat left to rebore but they can definitely look at it and reweld it

Sent the cylinder out to millennium today. I wanted to do an exchange to save time, but they currently don't have any in stock.

If you put a forged piston in make shure you heat cycle it first, then constant throttle change to seat the rings. Cast just constant throttle change.

Fire it up, let it warm up, check for leaks, shut off and recheck levels, ride it like you stole it. Just the way I do it. If you spend the time doing all the heat cycles and playing with the throttle it will be due for a new top end before you get to ride it.

That's what my buddy helping me with the rebuild said. I wasn't sure though. Thanks

Re: New 220 owner (update: blown up)
Bike is up and running great! Judging by the amount of power it has now, the engine was damaged before i bought it. The bike had been sitting, for awhile prior to me buying it, so i thought the rough running was just a gummed up carb, and a bike in need of some tlc. It wasn't, but atleast i have a nice engine now Thanks everyone for the advise.
