Hello from Colorado

Post by Tellerbama »

Just bought me a KDX220 2002 with a few upgrades including gnarley exhaust, bars etc...home to only 1 owner with minimal use. They guy who sold it to me was nice enough to throw in all of his old gear so I'm ready to ride! I am an ex-BMXer and lifelong mountain biker who was missing out on many trips with his dirtbike buddies and wanted to join the fun. I plan on doing some minor upgrades but nothing too big. I'm sure I'll be poking in from time to time for some answers to my newbie questions. And actually, I do have a first question :) The only part missing off this bike is the nut holding the kickstart on...anyone know what size that might be? Thanks!

Welcome! That nut is large. I'm thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of 13mm or 14mm? I can't remember off-hand. I've lost mine a couple times, so make sure you put some locktite on whatever you replace it with!
