There's a member on another forum that I believe has most parts from a US model. If its the same parts I don't mind putting you in touch. You may need to also join that forum for ease. If interested PM me.

I am sure I have seen this bike for sale on gumtree?

the parts for these are like rocking horse ****! but I may have found what you need..............

ignore the year, they always get them wrong! but it looks like the SR cover.

Yes ive put it on gumtree myself as it's taking up time and space now, however I would still like to get it fixed. That case on ebay isn't the same as mine either, mine has a thermostat in the water pump housing and is a lot wider there, total pain to find!

well spotted!

and yes I think you will find it nearly impossible to find one unfortunately.

how did your repair go on the old one? as your advert more or less states that it just needs bolting back together?

Well I have it here now, engineering firm that welded it went a little over the top! but if I can dremel the inside of the case out to fit the start gear it should go back on but I would prefer a new one really

Part number is 14032-1324 for the one im looking for, Kawasaki here and Japan don't have any! hens teeth springs to mind!

they probably stopped making them years ago! as it is an old bike, hence why you cant find one.
I even put the part number into a site in sweeden that hold over 23.000 Kawasaki parts from late sixties to early nineties, but they don't have one!

see if you can get the original working.
