Welcome Frank! What kind of riding do you have down there? Better than ours right now no doubt.

Hi Turtle,
Thank you.
I go to Croom in Brooksville, which is an atv/dirt bike riding area, I believe its 2500 acres.
Its nice, lots of trails .

Sounds great. Did you really find a new '06?? That would be a find! Or did you mean new to you? Any pics of 'er?

Turtle,
Yes, I found the bike new in California and had it shipped.
It was still in the crate.
The dealer had 2 available.
I lucked out big time.
I will take some pics this week and post them so you can see it.
What year is your KDX?
Any pics of it?

Welcome, Frank! Our riding here in central IL isn't as bad as turtle makes it out to be, unless you are ME and have nowhere to just kickngo!

Welcome to the site!

Turtle, you are going riding with us in June. Plan on it. I need some lessons. :)

Man, that is awesome - a brand new one! Was it crazy expensive to ship it from CA to FL?

Mine is a 2004. It was thrashed pretty good when I picked it up. I posted a little bit about it here, including a link to some pics.

Butterfly, I was mostly referring to winter. Otherwise we don't have it too bad, but only the truly privileged can ride from their front door, like a friend of mine in Tucson AZ. He can ride right to the trails from his driveway!

What is the latest on plans in June? I'm up for it. :supz:

Turtle,
You have a nice bike.
It cost me $300 to ship from Ca to Fla.
Thank you for the links.

Bob, we're north of you, up near the Peoria area. Maybe we will see you up at Taylorville in June. I hope to make it.

Do we know a date, ms. Butterfly?
