Re: Adam Does Dirtbikes
Shame he already switched out for a KTM. Yeah, been following him a while now and, of course, it was because he rode a KDX!

Re: Adam Does Dirtbikes
Listening to the audio of the video I would have never guessed I was listening to a KDX.
I can usually identify a lot of motorcycles by the sound, and this does not sound like any KDX I ever heard.
And am I mistaken, or is the bike running a little lean?
And my body aches just looking at this course...just saying.

Re: Adam Does Dirtbikes
He said he had just smashed his pipe so hard that it bent the head pipe enough that it wasn't even fully seated in the cylinder, and was leaking significantly out the front.Trackdog wrote: ↑09:48 am Nov 20 2023 Listening to the audio of the video I would have never guessed I was listening to a KDX.

This supports my brainstorm to make a full cage type pipe guard like I've seen a few guys custom hand build for the KDX... Or at least add some bracing off the frame to the backsides of the pipe on the left head pipe and right side chamber, IF I get my Hyde Racing skid plate pipe guard combo... It let me order one off their website, I'd thought the last time I looked, that I remembered seeing it was unavailable. It's made exclusively for the FMF gnarly desert pipe, I trashed my second one of those, not sure I can get it to pop out back into shape properly barely dented but both are twisted and one is like a crease head pipe area...
Pro Circuit Platinum 2 is pretty bent up as well, stock has about 20 dents in it
Looks like I'll be running the FMF Gnarly Woods pipe on the 220 next weekend then!
May try to trade it for another Pro Circuit Platinum 2 that's equally twisted around... The Platinum 2 is the best for the 220 overall, and the Gnarly Woods is best for what we ride if running a 200H top end... My buddy would benefit from that trade for sure, as would I except I'd be getting another bent twisted pipe and he'd be getting a new one!
