I'm not jacking your post Kris (maybe a I am) but I think it is important to point out that the most abundant bike at that race was the KDX (not really but it felt like it)! There were at least 10 in the pits on race day.

I always enjoy your writing. Exciting to read, especially when it's set in a series. I've never raced before, but reading those make a me want to try it out.
