1984 KDX250

Post by jake123 »

Well, here it is. After being torn apart for 20 years or so, we decided to put it back together. We eventually gave up, and just planned on having it bored to a bigger size. Took it to the dirtbike shop and they said "woahhhh" , so pretty much im screwed. Anyone know of a good place to find a cylinder jug for this? Or even a whole 250 2 stroke motor that will work on this bike, not sure how a engine swap works on dirtbikes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums.
I found a jug on ebay, says its the same year as mine, but it looks different. It has like a hose spot coming out of the side.

I found that one, which looks a little different than mine.

This one looks pretty much exactly like mine, but I don't wanna buy it and end up getting screwed. Says its 7/10 but It looks like in needs bored out and he already wants $95 for it.
