I got a 1991 KDX 250 and a 1986 KDX 200.
I managed to download the 1991 KDX 250 manual but could not find the 1986 KDX 200 manual.
Went onto the kawasaki.com website. Also found the 1988 KDX 200 manual, but not the 1986.

The only difference is the carb. The 1986 got the Mikuni VM 34 SS and the 1988 the Keihin 35 PWK.
What I would like is the carb specs for the Mikuni for the 1986 KDX 200.

Would appreciate some help.

A strange thing that I have noticed, is that although this carb does have an idle adjustment screw, an air screw for the pilot jet does not exist.
It is therefore difficult to get a fine idle adjustment. It may be at the right rev range, but it could still be too lean or too rich.
Do you then have to put in a leaner or richer pilot jet?

no air screw on those carbs is correct

I think they have a replaceable needle jet (not jet needle) if that will help make things even more confusing.
