carb and reed cage swap
anyone know if the reed cage and carb will swap from a kx250 to a kdx 200 ? working on a 88 model engine needing a new carb and a KX unit is available....

As the kdx175 engine (which then morphed into the 200 engine) was derived from the kx125, I'd say no looking at a 200 compared to kdx250 engine.

The reed cage and carb from almost all KX250's are larger than a KDX200.
The stock carb on a 1988 KDX200 is a special version of the PWK35. It has a lever that reaches from the right side over to the left side for the choke, plus the air screw and idle screw are on the right.
You can run the common version of the PWK35, but you won't be able to get to the air screw or idle screw without removing the air box.
