I`m looking at possibly purchasing a 250, listed as an `85, but possibly an `84. Are there any known issues with this particular model I should be aware of before I pull out ye old Visa?
I`ve been told that this specific bike is idling a little high and is missing a chain, but should otherwise be in OK shape except for some cosmetic issues. I just ordered the chain so I can install it before I go to possibly buy the bike.

Check to see if the linkage has any play in the rear suspension. It can be hard to find new parts, but otherwise I love my '82. Lots of power down low, very easy to work on. Not sure of any other typical issues as I've only had mine for a short time.
