Fredette Stator Mod - anyone got a link?

Hi, I have bought a H model rotor and now want to modify my C3 stator to suit.
I believe there is a mod you can carry out, can anyone point me to a write up
of how to carry out the mod? I have googled it and searched the Fredette shop
pages but cannot find the info I need.
