I keep looking at this ad everyday and it's getting harder and harder for me not to call. Is this a decent deal? What can be worst thing? Broken kips valves? $300 doesnt seem too bad

I don't think you could go wrong for $300. The big question is do you want, or need, another KDX?

I do see 1990 KX front end. Look at the USD forks and fork guards.

You can probably count on it being a heck of a lot further from "complete" than advertised. Need a project?

That's about the sate of mine when I brought it home for 400, although mine was SLIGHTLY more assembled. I have no regrets.

Yea I'm kind of thinking it might not be that bad. The cases look to be together, so as long as I don't need to seperate them for some reason, I think I would be down for the project. It would just be putting in the top end and clutch together, dropping it in the frame, and putting all the suspension on and electrical stuff on, bodywork, controls etc...nothing I haven't done before... as long as there are no major issues, I think I might go for it. When I was last looking for another KDX, the plan was to have a second KDX for my friends/family to ride with me. Well, when I stumbled upon the M titled one, those plans went out the window and now I have a dual sport. If this one is cheap enough, it would be perfect for a friend bike. I might even have a friend that would want to buy it when finished. Also... I really don't think I would mind expanding my KDX collection haha its a disease...

Just playing. I really don't see how you can go wrong. If its not everything you thought it would be you can part it out and make a little money. Good for you taken on a project bike.

Well, I was going to go up and look at it after work on Friday. When I got home, I sat in the garage and looked at the projects that I already have going and the ones I have planned for the winter and decided it would be best to not take on another one. I regret it already but I really didn't need to
