Swingarm bolt thread pitch

Post by Friedom »

Took the kdx to the track for the first time today. Was so excited. Decided to check my sag so I put it on the stand and noticed that the swingarm had a lot of play in it. First thought was that bearings were bad, but then I discovered that the swingarm bolt nut is missing!
Anyone else have parts rattling off? My exhaust fell off on my last ride, followed by 1 of the kick stand bolts (other one almost fell off) and presumably this nut. Anyhoo, anybody know what thread pitch that 14mm flange bolt is?

I want to say 1.5 on that one, but don't quote me. I haven't had an issue with bolts loosening, but then I blue loc-tite just about everything and check them during post-ride maintenance

Swingarm bolt thread pitch

Post by SS109 »

Sorry, don't know what it is. As far as things rattling loose, yeah. Lost my kickstart nut last ride. I check my bike constantly so I have no clue how it came off. Also found the kickstand bolts loose as well. Ugh.

I discovered that I have an extra nut on the extra swingarm assembly that I got from you. Thanks again, @ss109.
One of these days we'll go tear it up!
