So I finished the rear shock rebuild. It went springingly and i'm bouncig with joy for my ( see what I did there?)
I'm onto the front forks adn will spring for a rebuild ( see what I did there again?)
In the interim i'm redoing the top end adding on new oversized radiators with frame guards etc.
Already cleaned out the KIPS and replaced the Valves with new steel ones
As for the front forks I've seen this thread
http://www.kdxrider.net/Kayaba.htm
but what do I need to rebuild?
new springs of course from racetech
dust seals and fork seals from all balls
but hat abouvt valving and bushings? straight from racetech? or is there anothe source?
I've also seen reference to the FRP tool but cant seem to find it other than these two

Bushings you'll probably need to go OEM (no All Balls kit). You would need p/n 92028-1566 (Upper Bushing) 2 ea, p/n 44018-1054 (Lower Bushing) 2 ea, and p/n 92033-1036 (Snap Ring) 2 ea...I am assuming you have the USD forks of course.but hat abouvt valving and bushings? straight from racetech? or is there anothe source?
Racetech Gold Valves, don't believe the shim stack mods are applicable to the E-series bikes.
That tool is for the conventional forks. The tool for the USD fork can be fabricated, but it's easier to just use an impact wrench on the allen bolt at the bottom of the fork leg.I've also seen reference to the FRP tool but cant seem to find it other than these two

Re: fork rebuild needs...
Race Tech springs. Eibach won't work. I have tried.
Kayaba fork oil 44091-0004
You can get Race Tech Gold Valves if you want.
You may want to look into replacing the cartridge bushings if you are looking to fully rebuild it. You will need a vice and clamps. It ain't easy.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Technical-Touch ... YB&vxp=mtr
Check to see if the parts in it fit the bike. I am NOT saying all the parts will fit. Look on the Technical Touch catalog.
If you need the damper rod / cartridge bushings, get them from Race Tech.
KYB oil, RT springs, Gold Valves, cartridge rod bushings, Technical Touch bushing / seal kit is as good as it is going to get for those forks. Technical Touch is KYB, not China.
