1989 kdx200 front brakes

I've rebuilt the motor, put it back in....pretty much rebuilt the whole bike. I'm a mechanic.....for the life of me i can't figure out how to put the front caliper back together with the rattle clip, can't get the inner pad and rattle clip to fit right. Can someone please explain/show me pictures of how it goes together. Service manual is doing me no good. Thanks!

Hey Patrick same here. Bikes just about finished a mechanical rebuild and thought I would strip and check the boots & pins on the front caliper despite seeing new pads were installed. Cannot see a logical way for that clip to seat. It does look slightly out of shape but not too bad.
Appreciate any description or a photo if you have one.

Got it Also! For anyone reading this flip the clip 180. If you are looking at what you think is the front that is actually the back. 30 minutes to fit a rattle clip so thought it was worth sharing.
