What are the major drawbacks to using a 19" rear wheal

Post by frankenschwinn »

Due to the budget nature of my Hybrid build I will probably have to run the 19" rear wheel. What are the downsides to this? Is there any way to use the KDX wheel on the KX?

I bought a new spoke set and used the KX hub on a KDX rim.

downsides: shorter sidewall, more pinch flats, rougher ride, no 19" trials tires.

I'm pretty sure the kdx wheel fits the 02 kx frame if you use the kx spacers.
