KX300 WR?

Post by ehass »

Just wondering if anyone knows how to make a 2004 kx250 transmission into a wide ratio? Will a KDX250 transmission gears work in the MX bottom end?

No changes?

The KDX motor changed in 95... but they also dropped the 250.

I'm sure they made some changes but all the big parts are the same (engine cases, cylinder, clutch, trans ect.) I'm gunna try it and get back to ya. It doesn't look like this forum would care much though. It seems to be all about the KDX motor.

Take 1st and 2nd from the 97 and earlier and stick it in a 99 or later. No problems. For more info, contact a guy by the user name of no1clyde over on thumpertalk. I've ridden his and it's awesome! Tell him Jerry, AKA skipro3 told ya.
