OK heres what i come up with today on some weights..
Been doing a little carb jetting so i thought this might be a good time to drain all the fuel from my Hybrid and see what the weight was...
I checked it two ways and only came up with a 2 pound difference..
First i put my scale on my atv jack and slid it under it and jacked it up easy, i had a hard time getting it balanced so both wheels would be off the ground but when i did it read 218 pounds...
Next i did the board trick again, layed a board across my scale, zeroed it then rolled the bike onto the board, 220 pounds......
Sooo im going to split the difference and say mine weighs 219 with no fuel and all the other fluids......
Also finally got around to my 05 KDX 220...Pretty much stock but
with a PC pipe and FMF silencer, skid plate, barkbusters ,no fuel and all the other fluids it hit the scales at 248....
Weight of Stock KDX?

how about the motor? that's what you'll transplant from the kdx to the kx, and I'd bet the kdx one is heavier than the kx...
