Here are the new parts not currently on the bike. The pipe, armour, silencer, brackets and a few other things are on the bike at the shop being used for alignent for welding.

$2000 does not go to far these days.:cry:

Still, including the roller, motor, $2K in new parts (above) and full boat suspension rework I will have spent $4200. It will be a new bike with all new parts, bearings, seals and finish. Beats a $KTM and frankly, it will work better and be easier to ride and dang sure more comfortrable.:ride:

A really awesome job all the way, nothing cooler than someone who starts and finishes a project the right way! Any current pics, should be moving right along now? I'm dying to see the end result and here of a test ride. :supz:

Ahh, is it a KDX or KX frame?

I got the mounts in as you ca see and I added soe KDX frame hoops. Yeahhh that's how it is done!

As I speak, the frame at powder coaters, wheels are getting laced up, suspenion at MX xtech getting revalved. :partyman:

Bengal Silver powdercoat with clear coat powdercoat over the silver. It has a wet look.

Subfame is just clear coat over bare aluminum so it is a different color. The frame is Bengal Silver with clear coat over it.

It is powdercoat not paint.

A KX frame with KDX mounts and KDX case guards? I would not sell it.

I'd trade my 02 hybrid for an older KTM300 though. :grin:

Yep, you bet. Wheels not mounted yet but it starts right up on the work stand and sounds strong. Kill switch works, got spark obviously and revs just fine. I wanted to ensure all the electrics were right before buttoning it up.
