A little update...

Very succesful bike!
I moved my RB stuff over from my other KDX.
Suspension is sorted out to the point that I may make a 2 click change depending on where we are going.

I've never had a better woods bike, I must say. The only place it has an issue is in the turn radius on some REALLY tight stuff. I can live with that.

Yeah, that's a downfall of a 250 frame, stable like hell out in the open, but not as east to turn at low speeds in the twisties.

Have you tried running your rear wheel as furthest up as possible? If you're near the back of your adjusters, you might want to take a link out, if at all possible.

Oh no, it's not really a problem. Just have to set up different for some corners, plan ahead a litle.
It became a little more apparent when I replaced the rear tire..... :supz:

Yeah, what have you noticed about the 19" rear? I run a higher pressure to avoid flats, I'm thinking of going to HD tubes.

I don't notice the 19" rear at all. I do run those really heavy tubes.

I've also been running between 6 and 7 psi for years. I got to that pressure by suspension feel and handling. I've not had a problem with pinch flats at all but I have actually had the standard tubes get a hole scuffed in them from the tire and tube flexing on the rim, usually about the time the tire is worn out anyway.

Not the conventional practice but it works for me.
