I have one Kdx125 1991
I Wonder if Kx125 1994-98 tank Will fit?
I thinking on cut of My subframe
And weld new mounts for Kx125 1994-98 subframe
And mount kx 125 1994-98 tank so i can
Buy one black plastic kit and mount one kx
125 rear shock dose 1994-98 kx 125 rear shock fit
Bolt on? And use kx 125 1994-98 fork

Becus Kx125 1994 has much more parts
So i want to convert My kdx 125 1991 to kx 125 1994-98
So much i can.

If any of you have info about witch parts are interchange able please share :)

Kawasaki never sold the KDX125 in the USA, so most of us won't know about it.

Is there a problem with your current KDX or are you just looking to update the looks?

As Jason said, we didn't get the 125 here in the US so it's a bit of a mystery as far as specifics. Not sure what your options are in Sweden, but if you are willing to cut your subframe and do that work, I would look for a newer KX frame or blown bike and swap the motor over. A 1999-2004 KX125 frame would be a good donor, but then here in the states they are easy to come by.

i have no problem with welding
but i Always look for plug and play parts becus this bike is street legal thats why i want to build on this frame.

easyer quastion then, kdx 125 1991 is identical with kx125 1991 looks the same even if kx has better suspention.

will kx125 1994 tank fit on kx 125 1991 ? if it dose i have lot easyer job will mount tank and buy one kx125 1994-> sub frame and weld on.

and i can try to finde kx 125 fork and rear shock
the Engine has 24hp with 8:1 in compression so i Think easy porting and one new head with 12:1 or better will give this Engine a new Life and Power.
