How are you guys able to see the photos? I just see the photobucket p500; is there a way around that?

Search in the forum for photobucket fix (or search engine).

Also , some of them you can clik on it and it will take you to photobucket and sometimes it will show up there.

Any progress on the build? I'm curious to see how it's coming along.

Got the exhauat to fit without cutting it up. Engine mounts are made up just need to get over to my buddy's and do some welding. Drone Down tube and "Y" are made and also ready for welding. Hoping to get over there soon.

Sorry for no new pics but the frame is welded and is at the paint shop along with the sub frame, swing arm, rims and hubs. New custom retro KDX grafix ordered and after we get home from Florida I'll be doing an order for bearings, tires, tubes, plastics and a few other things.

Definitely want to see some pics of this.

I still have an '06 KX250f I want to do a conversion with except I will be using the KDX250 engine. Real interested in hearing and seeing how you did the rails and Y-section.

The stock air box is really close to fitting but the size of the piece that fits to the carb is smaller on the Kxf. I'll cut it back a few inches and fit the KDX end on it.

All new custom grafix were ordered and should be here next week along with plastics, tires, tubes, brake pads, wheel bearings, stem bearings and a few other small parts.


I'm heading to the paint shop Sunday to blast and paint the frame, hubs, rims, swing arm, triple trees, bars and maybe a few covers.

So it's almost done. Just have to add coolant, oil and gas.

So, how did you do the Y-piece and rails?

Got out a couple weeks ago for the first ride and shake down of the new bike. Had a few small issues with loosing ground in the coil and a few loose bolts but other than that it's awesome. Got my first ever race this Sunday.

Bikes located in Ottawa Canada but I'll be traveling to Florida at Christmas and possibly brining it
