Hi guys and gals,
I have a good KDX200 1999 model and a guy I know has a 1995 KX125 missing front axle and front caliper (engine has damage but not interested in engine).
My question is would these 2 make a good hybrid? Anything I need to know?
Thanks for reading and any answers.

Yes they would make a good hybrid. The front brakes from the kdx do fit (they are they same pn). You'll have to find a front axle or send the one from the dx to rb to have it modified.

The KDX axle won't work with the KX forks without being machined down to fit. Going that route also allows for reusing the KDX front wheel.

Good thing with the 95 kx125 it has a 36mm carburetor so the air boot fits better. The 94 kx came with a 38mm carb. I'm not sure how the h series motor fits in. You might have to cut off the rear head stay. My old hybrid uses a e series engine. The 2004-05 kx frame is one of the easiest ones to build.
