Where is everyone??

Lots of great information in these threads but why are they so old and where did everyone go? Out riding their hybrids?

There's plenty of people still active on here. Weekends are pretty slow because, well, people actually ride their bikes too

Plenty of hybrids still getting built, maybe just not as well documented because, well, it's been done so many times lol. I know I have slacked in taking pics of my RMX/RM hybrid because I just want it done to ride.

Glad you guys are still around then. Really want to convert one of my own but I have to wait until my daughter quits bleeding me dry when she graduates this December. LOL. Until then I'll just keep reading up on the cool bikes you guys have built.

I'm building a hybrid too, will post pics when further along. Just a basic 220 / 2001 kx125 build. The old threads are invaluable for hints.

The old kx 2001 hybrid lol.
This place helped me a lot and I'm still pushing on with my own refinements. This would have to be one of my most rewarding builds if you like that type of thing.

I'm still around, and still bleed green! I had the hybrid out for a sand ride a couple weeks ago, and it is parked beside my '89 200 and my '81 KX 420 (still a work in progress). I suspect the decreased volume of posts probably has something to do with how long the KDX has been out of production at this point. Fewer riders as more get parked. Sad, but inevitable.

That and we are loosing folks to the E-start bikes as well. Yamaha has reopened the door with its YZx, maybe Kawi will revisit a 2T enduro finally...A KDX with an aluminum frame and E-start? Yes, please!

I'm here once in a while. I had my hybrid show up in Dirt Bike Magazine. I had a brief rant about KTM flooding every print ad in every magazine, and well got my photo in.[album][/album]483

If there are specific things you are looking for let us know. Many of us who have done hybrids (at least I know me) have many more photos of the project than were posted in the threads. And it's a short walk out to snap a pic of whatever you need.
