2001 kX250 Clark tank to 2001 KX 125 / 97 KDX Hybrid

Post by Tioli »

Hi
If you want to fit a 2001 Clark tank to your hybrid have a look at how I did it. I can't say I enjoyed doing it and don't know how I would do it better if I did it again but I had a lot of problems.

All the pics are posted on another forum and start at the bottom of page 18. See link.

There is a discription of how I changed the original KX tank half way down page 13. I used the same method for the Clark.

So note to self, do not go with an oversize tank with a kx125 hybrid.

Well I would hope there are people out there that can improve in my amateurish attempt and share.

Thanks
The extra range will but I don't think it looks as good with the current black plastics and grafics.

If I t does not grow on me I will stand back and give it the eye, see what I come up with.

Oh don't get me wrong, your efforts will not go unnoticed, especially once someone doing a hybrid finds out their tank doesn't fit.
