Hi all from Tasmania Australia.
Thank you for all the good information. It has led me to building a hybrid that I did not know existed and had not heard of in Australia.
I bought a stock KDX and was just planing on giving it a thorough service and then play with the motor. Through the initial research I ended up here and well, Hybrid seems the only way to go. My aim is to build a bike with known technologies from the ground up.
I'm a bit done with going to dedicated forums every time I have a new project. The forum I'm building this bike in kindly let me babble on even though I'm way of topic.
I'm not done yet but thank you all for the good information.
