I am planning on on doing one. I have an '06 KX250f roller that I plan to install a '94 KDX250 engine in to. There is way more to it than a steel frame conversion as there is quite a bit of fabrication involved. I haven't started doing the frame mods yet so the best I can tell you is to read up on this conversion over at http://kxriders.com/. There is a subforum over there dedicated to AF conversions. Nothing KDX specific but it is the same process no matter what engine your using. That is where I have gathered all the info for my conversion.

Suzuki RMZ hybrid by Cole454. Lots of pics. It is a steel frame RMZ, but the process is exactly the same for an aluminum frame, just different welding process.

his thread actually got me thinking of doing the steel frame I have now. I have a full roller that will get a swap as soon as I can find a good donor.

I will probably sell my 2003 CR125/225 soon. I need to buy a 4x4 tractor and I don't need 3 kdx's so this one probably will go.
