1990 kdx200/1995 kx125 hybrid possible?
I have a nice low hour 1990 kdx200 (still has original tires) and a pretty decent running 95 kx125. Would the kx125 be workable to accept the kdx 200 motor without sending it to NASA for complete reengineering? Is this something that I could complete in my awesome garage with awesome tool set? I am fairly competent when it comes to maintenance but I am not an engineer. Would the forks from the kx work on the kdx200?

Read through some threads to see what all is involved. It requires welding, if that helps.
The fork conversion requires a stem swap and is similar to MANY threads found here.
