2001 rm 250 kdx 200 hybrid

My husband has been thinking about a rm 250 with kdx engine hybrid for years. Well, he finally jumped in and started his build. It has been easier than expected so far. The engine is now fitted to the swingarm and rear frame bolt. He drilled the engine case with a 43/64 drill bit and cut 8mm off the inside of the swingarm and bushing and the engine fit perfect. Next he is fabbing some engine mointing brackets to weld to the frame on bottom and in front to attach the engine case to frame.

Awsome bike. How does it do in the woods? Being a female- im a beginner, do you guys think my husbands tm kdx hybrid would be too much bike for me? He taught me to ride 2yrs ago on his vintage 1977 yamaha dt250. I love it.

The beauty of the KDX 200 engine is that it can be anything you want it to be, whether mild trail bike or fast woods bike. The only thing I can think of that may be an issue with an MX frame is it might be a bit taller - but that can be resolved in several ways.

If you can post some pictures, that'd be great....we're always up for a new kind of hybrid.
