I decided to cut the cases and use the rm swingarm sleeves in the kdx cases. I had the rm engine so i had the measurements i needed . To get the sprocket lined up i had to move the engine obout 1/4 to the right.

The air box from the rm was amazingly close. I just heated it up on the bottom side and stretched it a little and now its perfect.

i used the rm silencer with the front or the kdx silencet. I just sawed off the kdx silencer and put it the pipe ,then bolted on rm silencer and found out were they met the closest.

The pipe was just rubbing the frame in the front . I slightly put shallow dents in it to clear. I could have extended the head pipe but could not bring myself to chop up my new pipe lol

This is were im at now.i have a steering stablizer coming this week. I still need to find a oversized tank and get a spark arrester. I still have to get the suspension revalved, the mx suspension is very harsh on single track. All in all im really happy with this transformation. It is light years better than that top heavy kdx 250 frame. And putting one of the best enduro engines with one of the best handling bikes was a win win. If anyone wants up close pics of anything. Let me know ill try to post some

Thanks for sharing how you did it. If I were you, I would list those parts for sale in the classifieds section.

Re: kawasuki 250
Cool build!
Extending the head pipe would've altered the power characteristics, BTW.
