So after riding my hybrid for about 2 years its time to do another.

I obtained this 2001 KX125:

and this 2005 kdx220:

My first hybrid was a 2002 kdx200 on a 2002 kx125. It came out like this:

I did it in about 10 days start to finish. I plan on taking my time and doing a few things differently. Hopefully this one will come out at least as good if not beter.

Took the motor out of the 125. Ran the vin and its actually a 2000. Doesn't matter as they are the same from 99-2002 excepth the 02 has 48mm forks

This was what was being used as the nut for the swingarm pivot...

on the last one I woried about motor position and rotating it back as far as possible. That created lots of fitment work for everything else (Pipe, tank etc). Im going to try to work around the oversize IMS tank I have, have seen where some have not even had to mod pipe. I am shooting for that.
