Post by HRDROKN »

Any thoughts on whether to run the Ron Black supplied CEK or the JD red needle that I was running prior to th carb and head work?

I am running a RED with the RB carb... I love it! It is very linear though... More like a DEK. A CEK is like a Bronco....

Did RB set you up with a 40 pilot? I was running a 42 and if my memory serves me correctly I was considering trying a 40 as I was just a tad fat still.

I was running a 35 pilot stock, and when I got my carb back from RB he upped it to a 38. I tried the 35 again, it was too lean.

You have a 220 dude. When RB'd you should run 200 jetting... 38 is fine in real hot weather... but not this time of year...

My city is at 4000', and I ride up to 9000'. Needs to be a bit thinner than most.
