Has anyone done a RB carb with Eric Gorr 225 kit?
Since I'm having my cylinder redone anyway I figure I might as well upgrade to the 225 kit but was wondering what effect a RB carb mod would have with it. Would it be good?

RB does mostly head for stock cylinder, but you can ask him to make sure.
I'd let let EG do the head too.

It will have the same effect as it does on any motor, stock or otherwise, which is to greatly improve/enhance the low-end circuitry in the carb....allowing the engine to run much better in this range due to the improved carburation.

I thought there was some issues with the head mod from RB and cylinder work. Maybe I was thinking about some porting done by FRP? I kinda remember a thread about rb mod and frp porting where they didn't work so great together.

It shouldn't matter. You have to get the jetting squared away no matter what.akagalford wrote:Since I'm having my cylinder redone anyway I figure I might as well upgrade to the 225 kit but was wondering what effect a RB carb mod would have with it. Would it be good?
Send your cylinder and head to EG and carb to RB.
