$40 shipping? I'd check out Harbor Freight or similar store....

Everytime I see one at HF, it's broken. Not a very good way to market it!

I'm more concerned with useability and safety (not mine, the bike!).

Finally broke down and bought the MX EZ Scissor lift and the MRP tire changer. Love them both.

Can you get a drain pan under it to drain the oil from the transmission?

It does have a hole for oil draining but I wouldn't do it at that height! I haven't tried an oil change on it yet but I'm sure my plastic oil pan would fit easily. I'll take a look.

It's great for tire changes, swing arm removal, cleaning... It is super sturdy and you could almost run into it without knocking it over.

It's nice not to have to bend over.

I now have 2 of these, work very very nicely.

BUT, I still change the oil with the bike on the ground.

BTW....mine have a little trouble lifting my DRZ400(330#) so I have to give it a little help, lift upwards maybe 5# of that bulk, then use the locking pin so it can't change it's mind and come back down.

Seems surprisingly stable and I love the portability and height.

PS: I know this is an old thread :)
